广东骏威农业有限公司是旅港新兴同胞陈少雄和陈宝垣先生于2009年兴办的外商投资农业企业，主要业务是肉兔的育种、扩繁、饲养与销售。总投资4000万元，创办了占地200亩的种兔场，高标准种兔舍44栋，共有1.1万个种兔笼位和5万个商品兔笼位以及相关基础设施。公司已通过ISO认证，是广东目前规模的种兔场和肉兔养殖场、广东省省级现代农业园区和云浮市农业龙头企业，被推选为“中国创新力企业”。 社会经济的快速发展和生活质量的不断提高，对兔肉的消费与日俱增。近年，广东每年对兔的消费量达6000万只，而广东饲养的商品兔只有500多万只，绝大部分来自于外省。广东的商品兔市场价格一直以来比外省高30%左右，主要原因有三：一是广东消费水平高，对兔肉的消费需求较大；二是广东由于受特殊气候环境的制约，大规模饲养商品肉兔发展缓慢；三是北方养兔大省因运输成本和运输风险较高而难以进入广东市场。因此，广东的肉兔市场空间较大。由于兔是节粮型的草食动物，一直受到产业政策的鼓励和支持，发展养兔业利国利民，前景广阔。在广东大规模发展商品肉兔，更具有重大的现实意义。
